Our Story
At the heart of our restaurant is a deep love for Latin American cuisine and culture. We cook with the seasons, using fresh, ever‑changing ingredients and working closely with local producers who share our values.

Over time, Tupac has become a meeting point for friends, neighbours and travellers, a space where the energy of Berlin meets the warmth and richness of Latin America.

Our drinks list brings together natural wines, classic cocktails and Latin‑inspired creations. We like wines with character, stories and a sense of place, chosen to complement the dishes and to invite discovery.
The Team
Tupac brings seasonal Latin American cooking, natural wine, and good music to the heart of Berlin. It’s co-owned and led by David Raphael Pollack (Dave), a San Francisco native who grew up in restaurants, sang in hardcore punk bands, and now runs the international music agency Destiny Tourbooking. Dave co-owns several Berlin restaurants and shapes the atmosphere and hospitality at Tupac—his most challenging and flavorful project.
In the kitchen, Peruvian chef Ariel Peralia brings a rebellious, constantly evolving style shaped in kitchens across Latin America, including Virgilio Martínez’s Central. Together, Dave and Ariel keep Tupac free-spirited, authentic, and always changing.
